SQUARE INCH PRICING
My current rate is 2.5 cents per square inch for edge-to-edge digital designs.
Pricing is figured by quilt length x width to determine the square inches x.025
Ex: Quilt Top 60"x80" = 4800 sq" x.025 = $120
Note: Minimum quilting charge is $50.
BATTING
I stock my favorite Quilters Dream batting in three popular varieties, all in "Select" (midloft). If you'd like to order another Quilter's Dream variety I can help with that, or you're welcome to provide your own high quality batting.
Batting is priced per linear inch, and NOT included in the square inch price. I stock queen (93") rolls, except in the case of special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin) and charge per inch.
Pricing for Batting Options:
Quilters Dream 80/20 Cotton/Poly Blend .42 per inch
Quilters Dream 100% Cotton .44 per inch
Quilters Dream Bamboo Blend .50 inch
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" inches of the batting of your choice.
65" of Dream 80/20 Cotton/Poly blend @ .42/in = $27.30
65" of Dream 100% Cotton @ .44/in = $28.60
65" of Dream Bamboo blend .50/in = $32.50
For King quilts I stock packages of Quilters Dream 100% Cotton and 80/20 Cotton Poly Blend for $68 each.
THREAD
Thread is included in your square inch price.
I stock Glide (#40) Premasoft (#50) and Affinity Variegated threads in a variety of neutrals and colors and in my workshop. I use prewound bobbins that most closely match the top thread color selection.
My design preference usually is to match the thread to the lightest color fabric in your quilt so it blends nicely. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
CUTTING
Once quilting is completed, I include squaring and trimming free of charge for up to large throw size quilts (60x75 or smaller).
If you'd like me to square and trim a larger quilt this is available for $10.
In the quilt request form there is a place to let me know how you'd like your quilt cut (or not at all) with additional options.

BINDING SERVICES
I'd love to help finalize your quilt by taking care of this for you. I offer 3 options for binding, each priced by linear inch. Linear inches determined by totaling all 4 sides of your quilt. Ex: 60x80 would be 60+60+80+80=280 linear inches
ONE SIDE: You can bring me your pre-made binding and I'll attach it to one side of your quilt. Corners and the finished seam will be mitered. It will be ready for you to bind to either side. .15/linear inch
FINISH FOR ME: I'll attach your pre-made binding to the back of your quilt with mitered corners and seam, then iron and machine bind it to the front of your quilt .25/linear inch
COMPLETE BINDING: You can bring me the fabric you plan to use for binding, select from my fabric stash, or I can order/purchase for you. I'll make 2.5" binding, and attach to the back of your quilt with mitered corners and seam, then iron and machine bind to the front. .35/linear inch, plus the cost of fabric if not provided.
CUSTOM LABEL
If you haven't already planned for a quilt label, I'm happy to help. I can create a custom label, and appliqué it to the corner of your quilt after it's been quilted. I have a selection of designs already created, or can create a custom design just for you. Each label is printed on 100% cotton fabric, attached to interfacing for durability and appliquéd to your quilt. The wording is up to you. I'll send a proof prior to printing.

ADDITIONAL QUILT PREP & FINISHING SERVICES
QUILT PREP: If you'd like me to give your quilt top a more detailed final once over with an ironing board press and clip any dark threads before loading I'll do that for a flat fee of $10 per quilt top.
BACKING PREP: If you'd like me to seam your backing for you, bring the yardage necessary and I'll prepare the backing with a 1/2" seam before loading on the frame. Price for quilts large throw and smaller: $10, queen or larger: $15.
ADDING BORDERS: If you'd like me to help finish your quilt top I'll add borders for $25/hour for construction services and the cost of fabric if not provided.
MASKING & APPLIQUÉ : If there are areas on your quilt top that you don't want stitched, I can mask the area while quilting $10/area. I've found this looks more finished with a ribbon stitch appliquéd prior to quilting. This can be done prior to loading your quilt top on the frame for $15/item.
TURN AROUND TIME
I know how exciting it is to finally finish a project, and I want to get your quilt back to you so you can enjoy it! My turn around time for longarm quilting is *usually* no more than 2 weeks from drop off (or upon shipping receipt) for standard projects, 3 weeks if binding or additional services are included. Busy times around graduation and Christmas may require additional planning time. I strive to get your quilt back to you expeditiously and often exceed my own timeline. If there is any variation from this timeline, such as a longer than usual queue or planned travel, I'll let you know prior to accepting your quilt.
QUILT PREP
Before dropping off or shipping your quilt please give it a final press, and clip any dark threads that may show through light fabrics. When loading your quilt on my frame I will give your backing and quilt top a quick steam to remove any fresh creases.
BACKING OVERAGE
Please ensure you have at least 8-10" of backing overage.
SHIPPING
I live in Huntersville, North Carolina (28078) and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials sealed in plastic to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USP with $50 of insurance and a tracking number. I will include the return shipping price in your estimate based on a 5 lb weight, so there are no surprises, but the actual shipping price based on weight will be included in your final invoice once the project is complete.
PAYMENT
When I receive your online quilt request I will send an estimate for your project to your email through Quickbooks. I do not require a deposit for longarm quilting. Once the estimate is accepted, I will reach out through text to arrange a time to meet at my Huntersville workshop for local customers, or provide instructions for shipping.
Once your project is complete, I will invoice you through Quickbooks. I accept credit card payments through Quickbooks as well as Zelle and Venmo. Once payments is made I will contact you to arrange local pick up or ship projects within within 48 hours. I also offer local drop off in the North Charlotte and Lake Norman areas.
