Hi, I'm Kerri Barnett, thanks for stopping by! I'd love to welcome you to my workshop and show you around my happy place. This is where I design, construct and CREATE. There's often a movie musical or TV show on for background noise, and our beagle Lucy is curled up in her favorite spot on the sofa.

 

I have always been a creative person and dabbled in a number of things, including carpentry, before finding a passion for quilting. My brain always needs a project to obsess over. I love all the fine details of quilting; combining the creative with the technical. ​I started making quilts for family and friends and it wasn't long before people began asking if I could make T-shirt and memory quilts. Through word of mouth it just keeps growing! I joke that I accidentally started a business, but I couldn't be prouder to offer my services and share my passion and skills through Kerri's Creations Quilting. ​

I got my first Bernina longarm quilting machine in the spring of 2024 and have loved learning to create the dense, graphic style of quilting I gravitate to. By the spring of 2026 I knew I was all in and upgraded to a larger machine and frame so I could quilt up to king size for my customers.

When I'm not in my quilting workshop, I am probably working on a home renovation project or driving my 2 boys to their various activities. My husband, Will, and I love cheering from the sideline at lacrosse tournaments, and spending family time with our boys. We are occasionally up for a grand adventure, but are pretty happy just ordering pizza and watching the Carolina Hurricanes play hockey from the sofa.
